Trinity Church/Copley Square

Boston, MA

Trinity Church was designed by H. H. Richardson and is listed as one of the 10 most important structures in the country. RPM restored the church's main tower in 2003. RPM's stone restoration of this landmark's exterior façade included repointing, cleaning and crack repair, as well as stone Dutchman installation around the exterior of this historic property. In addition, RPM completed major stone restoration and modifications to the existing granite walls in the basement, or Undercroft, of the church.

Babcock Towers

Boston, MA

The owner of this 21 story apartment complex in Boston has been a RPM satisfied customer for many years. RPM's successful exterior restoration of the towers and the underground garage halted substantial water infiltration and deterioration. The scope of RPM's work on this property included concrete repairs, new exterior wall flashings, sealants and 50,000 s.f. of new traffic deck coating in the garage.

YWCA Headquarters

Boston, MA

RPM gave this 14-story property its full treatment of exterior repair and restoration. The scope of work, completed entirely by RPM's workforce, included brick and stone replacement and restoration, installation of new steel lintel angles at window heads, installation of new precast window lintels and precast panels, masonry cleaning, sealants, expansion joint repairs and an elaborate new limestone entrance.

Weymouthport Condos

Weymouth, MA

This project involved the removal of thousands of linear feet of existing caulking material from the precast panel exterior walls and window perimeters on three high-rise condominium buildings. RPM then installed new sealants in those spaces. In addition, RPM re-sealed 100 balcony sliders and applied waterproof deck coatings. To minimize tenant disruption and eliminate all water infiltration problems in the exterior façade, RPM kept this project fully staffed to complete the work in one season.

University Hall/Harvard University

Cambridge, MA

This award winning project's exterior was restored by RPM to include repointing of mortar joints, cleaning and restoring the exterior granite walls, as well as new granite work at ground level and interior concrete block installation. This building is one of RPM's many successful Harvard University masonry and stone restoration projects; others include Widener Library, Kirkland Hall, Gund Hall, 26 Church St., Walbach Hall, Jordan Hall, Harvard Biotech Building, Mellon Hall and Countway Library at Harvard Medical.
