RPM's Unique Dust Collection System
Masonry restoration contractors face the challenge of collecting
mortar dust created from the mechanical cutting of masonry and
stone mortar joints in a joint re-pointing operation. Health concerns
for the workers exposed to this dust, as well as concerns for
adjacent persons and properties, require collection of this normally
airborne material.
In an effort to satisfy the requirements of a cutting operation
and continue to be a front-runner in safety and quality, RPM has
designed and implemented a dust collection system presently in
use in our re-pointing operations which virtually eliminates airborne
silica.
RPM has worked and will continue to work with safety and health
organizations, local unions and manufacturing experts to make
all of our job sites safe.
